I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience providing psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I am trained in both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy approaches.
I attended Boston University for my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I then received my Master of Arts from Columbia University in Developmental Psychology. I went on to earn my Doctor of Psychology degree at the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology. I completed an accredited internship program at the University of Health Sciences Center at San Antonio. I additionally completed a one year externship at Long Island Jewish Schneider Children’s Hospital Eating Disorder Day Program.
From 2005 to 2012, I worked for New York Health and Hospitals in Brooklyn as a Supervising Psychologist in the child and adolescent psychiatry department. I provided clinical services to children, teenagers, and parents. I also supervised doctoral students within the clinical psychology APA-accredited internship program.
I worked in private practice in New York City from 2012 to 2017. My practice is currently located in Melville, Long Island. I currently specialize in anxiety/stress, depression, life transitions, parenting, obsessions and compulsions, eating disorders, compulsive shopping, infidelity, and relationship conflict.
